Art and Design Intent

We aim to provide all children with the confidence to learn a variety of new skills in Art and Design. We help our pupils to communicate what they see, feel and think creatively by making decisions, reflecting and respecting others opinions. We encourage our children to explore Art as a tool to develop their understanding of the whole curriculum as well as fostering a love of Art.

Pupils will have the opportunity to understand and respond imaginatively to the world around them. Through Art and Design they will look at other cultures and artists and use a variety of influences in their own work.
